We went live this week with our online booking system this week and it has been a tremendous success with lots of use already and we have barely promoted it. Feedback from patients has been fantastic. Thanks to smartsoft for an excellent system!

I was wondering if the was a simple report i can generate that lists out the number of appointments made thru the online booking system +\- vs the number of appointments made conventionally

Hi Adam. Thank you for your comments, I'm glad to hear the rollout of your gateway is going well!

At this stage we do not have a report that will compare manual bookings within Front Desk to those made online through the Patient Booking Gateway. However, as you may know, the gateway does have a set of administrator tools for you to track user logins and appointment activity.

The address to access these tools is different for each user but the general format is: http://YourBookingGatewayAddress/Admin

Please ensure that you are not using the default Front Desk admin password.

The User Logins report shows how many users are visiting your gateway and actively logging in. You will generally see high values on this report as this can indicate patients logging in to simply view upcoming appointment times.

The Appointment Activity report shows the total new, rescheduled and cancelled appointments made online. You can hover over the different colours to show totals of each type of action.

Both reports have Daily, Weekly and Monthly breakdown options.

Additionally, from within Front Desk, you can filter the Appointments Report to focus on appointments made/changed via the Booking Gateway.

This is another useful report that can show information such as missed appointments and total processed appointments resulting from online bookings.
