Rule Change function update - when is the tick box going to be separated for "Available for Schedulers/Waiting List/Gateway". Would like to use these functions but allocated separately in diary. Currently we do not use the waiting list because this tick box is joined to the gateway.  I have raised this before and advised will be in a future upgrade.

Hi Sharon. Can you help us understand why your Waiting List practitioner availability is not similar to your online appointment availability?

waiting list  - we would only use on particular days with particular practitioner - not across whole diary for next available.   The clients are only available for particular days/times and might be on a waiting list for a couple of different sessions.   Only wanting appointment if it becomes available.  We currently use casual notes for this and they can easily be missed.

Where if we are looking on the gateway they have a wider search feature and can search this functionality easier.  Clients who have this access do use this search function.

I would say only about half our clients are on or use the gateway for making/viewing appointments and still ring us to check for them.

Previously we had the waiting list function disconnected because it was clashing with our gateway settings/rules.

Hi Timothy,

I would love this idea to be reviewed and hopefully implemented.

We run regular staff meeting, PD and mentoring sessions (some of which are "compulsory" and some are voluntary attendance) where our practitioners are not available for consulting.

I normally enter these as an appointment so they appear in the practitioner's diary when they are checking it remotely.
These are done in blocks (usually 3 or 6 months) using the appt scheduler.
To be able to use the scheduler, a rule needs to be added to each practitioner's availability, the appt scheduled then the rule either deleted or updated to remove the availability.

We need to remove the availability incase the session is for some reason cancelled to prevent online bookings being able to make an appt in this time as it is non consulting time that is used for these sessions.

Thanks
