Hello, We have a few patients (family/husband and wife etc) with the same email address. They are having problems booking online. Am I correct in thinking only on email can be allocated to one person?
Hi Bayside Family Chiropractic. If multiple family members attend the practice and share a single email address, the best option is to used the 'Linked Patients' feature of the Patient Booking Gateway. This allows one login to be used for all family members, allowing them to see all upcoming appointments and book on behalf of all family members.
To set this up, head to the patient file in Front Desk that is already registered for the Patient Booking Gateway. Go to Appointments > Patient Booking Gateway > Linked Patients.
Next, select Add and browse for the other family members.
As shown below, after logging into the Gateway, the patient will now see upcoming appointments for all family members and be able to book on behalf of the family.
Thanks Tim - The problem we had this morning - new patient trying to book an online appointment and couldn't as the email address was already being used.
