Saving an Attached Excel Exercise Sheet into Frontdesk After Modifying

Hi There. We are a busy Pilates Clinical and used paper spreadsheets to document clients exercises and progressions. We are wanting to incorporate these spreadsheets into Front Desk as an attachment (which isn't a problem), the problem is when we modify the spreadsheet (update new exercises) you can't save directly back into the same attachment - you have to "save as" onto the desk top and then "re-attach" back into front desk (which is clumsy and time consuming. I understand that recently you guys have updated the ability of Word Docs to be modified and saved back into Front Desk. It woudl be greatly appreciated if the same coudl be done for Excel Docs. This would be a significant game changer for other Physio Pilates Clinics for their exercise spreadsheets (getting them paperless) and a valuable addition to your product for ease of use. Cheers Greg

Agreed - we would also appreciate this... or even possible incorporation of an exercise system.

Hi there. All attachments are stored in a read-only format, however we do handle Word documents in a special way that allows users to edit and save any changes automatically back to the patient file. We appreciate that users would have a similar need to edit Excel spreadsheets attached to a patient file.

At this stage we will need to look at the technical aspects of this and will get back to you as to whether it is possible.

Thanks Tim, that would be a great addition, especially since it is already in place for Word.

If I could just add a little weight to this. Our organization would greatly value this addition also. I look forward to hearing if its possible

Regards. Daniel
