Hello, we are a small clinic, and are now expanding. We will need extra computers for point of sale, and back office soon.
For our back office can that one be linked to a laptop?

Hi Bayside Family Chiro. It is possible to use a laptop so long as the laptop meets our minimum requirements, which can be found here. This is a typical setup in most practices as Front Desk has been designed for multi-user environments.

Please note if you intend to use a laptop as your database host, we recommend the use of a wired connection, which generally guarantees stable connectivity for all Front Desk users. Though most wireless connections are stable, wireless connectivity can be susceptible to interference and drop-outs, depending on your configuration and environment. Wireless dropouts on your database computer will affect all Front Desk users on your network.

If you have any further questions or if you require a quote for additional user licences, please contact the Business Care team at www.smartsoft.com.au/contact or on 1800 181 820 and dial 2 after the prompt.
