Thanks for the update and the reply direct from the messages on side of appointment book is fantastic - can we have it so it doesn't ask us if we want to update the phone number please as its an unnecessary step. Obviously we have a valid phone number or we couldn't have sent the SMS in the first place

Hi David

The prompt to update the mobile number should only appear when the number you are sending to does not match what is recorded in the patient file.
We feel this is an important and useful message that should appear to users when a new mobile number is identified.

That said, we have noticed that the prompt can appear from differences in spacing alone.
For example, it will see ‘0411 222 333’ as a different number to ‘0411222333’.

We will improve on this in the next release so you only receive the prompt when required.

Thanks for your response Andrew.
Looking at the 2 this morning the discrepancy was spacing. Would be great to have this altered when you can.
While I agree a new number would be an important update the logic of me texting to number ''a'' and the person replying on their new number ''b'' is hard to envisage - and certainly the staff aren't going to want to change it on the system based on that alone.

It would be great that when mobile numbers are being put in that spacing is automatic.  Especially for online by clients.  Spacing makes it easier to read of computer when dialing the number.  If there are no spaces it makes it harder to read.  Sharon
