Hi Jenny. So that we can understand you request a little better, what would be the purpose of the SMS message you want to send? Are you looking for a way to have an SMS message template sent a certain amount of time before an existing appointment on your diary?

Hi Tim, yes we are looking for a way to have an SMS message template sent a certain amount of time before an existing appointment but not with every text sent.

You have got us thinking about the possibility of automatically sending SMS at an offset time to the appointment time. Say 15 minutes before as you suggested, though this does seem a little close to the appointment time.

Just as a side note, checkout this post about a new feature being released next week, which will give your patient the ability to add the appointment to their smartphone calendar, and will also present an alert on the device one hour prior to the appointment.
