This might be a bug. Can you duplicate this? "qryClient: Dataset not in edit or insert mode"

Hi Team,

Please can you run through this quick sequence and see if you have the same problem as me?

Open FD
Click on the patient icon

Open any pt file
Open the "appointments" tab to see prior appointments (you'll need to uncheck the "future appointments only" box)
Then open the "tracking" tab and make a tracking change (double click on any tracking category)

Now try closing the patient file *from the tracking category tab*.

Do you see this error?   "qryClient: Dataset not in edit or insert mode"

I am using FD version 18.3.3.0 data version 15.8.8, but the issue may appear in earlier versions?

Thanks for your help.  Joyaa

Hi Joyaa

I can confirm that we were able to replicate the error in our test environment. A fix will be available in the next Front Desk update.

Thank you for your extensive testing!
