How do we create a "to-do list" for a practitioner?

We would like a reminder each day of the tasks that need to be done, and would like to set up automation for some tasks - such as a follow-up phone call for a new patient, or creating a letter of a new EPC referral, or a letter when the last EPC session has been used, etc.

Is there a way to display this on the practitioners appointment book, while making it available for viewing by administration or reception staff? Perhaps even an automated email to the practitioner & admin of outstanding items?

It would be really good for a to-do list for staff as well :)  Yes there is the reminder column on the left but that can get too clogged up and then things get missed.
