I would to have the option of an end date in the treatment plan section. Worksafe and other 3rd parties will approve so many treatments within a certain period of time and it would be great to be able to have an end date as well as start date in that section

Yes, this is also relevant for National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIS) clients whose plans have a start date but the end date is not a set period.

Great idea, although there would need to be some alert triggered to make the end date truly valuable.

Hi,
Do we have an updated as to when and if this might be implemented?  I would love to see the option of end dates within a treatment plan and even having multiple treatment plans for workcover patients who might also have EPC's???
Thanks :)

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Adding an end date for Treatment Plans.

Is it possible to add a end date in the treatment plan screen.

This would be helpful for when our workcover clients are coming to the end of their treatment and going to self management.  The workcover agencies then give them an end date for services.

It would be good to include here so we don't miss end date for services as after the end date the client then needs to be billed for services.

Hi all. I can confirm that this enhancement will be added to Front Desk in the near future.

Hi Timothy,

We were wondering if this is still on the cards please?

We are noticing an increase in the number of Return to Work/Third Party claim managers that are approving treatment/group exercise participation based on a number of weeks or an explicit end date rather than the number of treatments/classes

Would be great to have an option to choose either billing codes OR time period/end date when creating the treatment plan in the billings tab to make this function flexible enough to cover a variety of different scenarios re third party approval.

Thanks,

Hi Rachel. We certainly recognise the usefulness of this feature. I can confirm that this is one of our next high priority development items, which you will see introduced in the near future.

Brilliant Timothy,

You have no idea how much this will help (and how thankful we will be to have a solution)

Is there also a way for the system to store/record old treatment plans - as we use our for Medicare EPC's and they update every year.

It would be nice to keep a record of the previous records in case we have a query on them.  Just saves time having to search the actual file.

Also could it keep track between the different treatment plans.  As we have multiples across different modalities.  eg. Physio, Dietitan, Podiatry.

Some times they will have different number of treatments and different start times across the practitioners.
