Treatment Plan Letter Tags Not Compatible With Email?

Hi Folks,

We are really happy with the treatment plan counter feature.

We use the Treatment Plan counter to track used pilates sessions when purchased as a 10 pack etc.  So we understand that this is different to how many clinics use this feature.

However what we would like to do is send an email to patients letting them know that their available sessions are running out.  Brilliant idea we thought until we learnt that the letter tags don't merge with email (both subject line and main body text).

Any chance of adding this feature in a future update?

Hi Travis, at this stage there's no functionality to send an SMS or email per patient account, so letter tags that are account specific are not available, including Treatment Plan letter tags. A Standard Letter is different because it's created from the patient's Billing Details tab, so it knows which account it's for.

Typically, patients are alerted that their number of allocated treatments is running low when they're billed, so this has not been needed, but we do understand your reason for requesting it.

We need to do further thinking about this.

Thanks for the response Gerry.  Hopefully a solution might be in the future.

One thing I noticed when researching this problem is that the status of a treatment plan is available whilst hovering over an appointment. A great time saver.  However this feature seems to be deactivated / not available if that appointment is part of a group appointment.  Any chance of finding a fix for this?

We are using recall types with reminder and end of session dates and generating weekly reports for following up for new pilates blocks payments.  A bit of work to set up but at this stage the only way we see of keeping track without doing manually which is likely to have more changes of errors.  (Sharon)
