Using the search function in the "Item Codes" window: "contains" rather than "begins with"?

Hi, I'm sorry to ask this question again. A similar one was already asked two years ago, but wasn't really answered.

When using the search function in the "Item Codes" pop-up window, is it possible to search for a description that contains the keyword, not just begins with the keyword?

For example, we stock maternity braces in our Hire Equipment, but they are called "Loving Comfort Maternity Support Belts". As a result, if the physios forget the brand name, they have a hard time finding the maternity brace amongst the item codes. They are also generally not familiar with the countless item codes, so can't really search for items efficiently by their code.

If this is not possible at the moment, do you think it would be achievable in future updates of Front Desk? Adding a contains the keyword search function for Item Codes would be extremely helpful for us.

Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing back from you!

Kind regards,

Millie

Not at FD right now, but have you tried using the % key? As in %belt% or %mat% and see if this gives you what you need.

Thank you again!

Pleasure.  And I have just noticed that you can search the GP/medical referrers file under "Organisation" using the same tactic.  :)
