We are committed to ensuring that Front Desk works with all supported versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems, which we have done since 1996 and Windows 3.11.

Our problem is that release candidates of operating systems available to software developers are not always exactly the same as production versions released to consumers, and many resources can be wasted making modifications and testing for these versions before they are final.  This is in fact happened to us with one of the last release candidates for Windows 7 where we needed to make additional changes when the final production version was released.

Our recommendation is to use new operating systems to run critical business software when the platform itself is stable and proven -- this can generally take a few months.  We will certainly be making any changes required and fully testing Front Desk with Windows 10 over this period. An announcement will be made on the community when we are happy with Windows 10 compatibility.

The current pre-release version of Front Desk (16.8.0) is compatible with Windows 10.
