Xero Integration Troubleshooting

I am following the Xero Integration User Guide and have come across a problem. I have followed guide to uploading the public key certificate when creating the new App and I get the error message Failed to Create App. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

Hi Kate

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues. To be clear, the error you are receiving is from the Xero website and not an issue with Front Desk, but I can suggest the following:

  1. Logout of your Xero account on the Xero Developer page.
  2. Logout of your account on the main Xero site.
  3. Close and re-open your web browser.
  4. Return to the Xero Developer page, and login to your Xero account.
  5. Click New App, following Step 4 of the integration guide again.
This has worked each time I've seen this particular Xero error.  If the problem persists, please contact Xero Support for further assistance.
